All officials are assigned, managed, and evaluated to ensure the best officials are working our events, which helps our programs stand out above the rest.   We assign our own officials and take accountability for the professionalism and effort of our officials.

We are looking for officials that are certified, or in the process of obtaining their certification.  We offer the top pay and environment in the area for games.

Current pay for the 2010 season varies from $18.00-20.00 per game, depending on the league and/or tournament sponsored.  We assign 4-5 hour blocks of games to allow our officials maximum effort without risk of injury or burnout.   We pay our officials upon arrival of games.

Officials are expected to wear full gear during games, with the exception of black shorts are allowed in place of long pants.

Beginning October 1, 2010, officials will be paid $18.00 per game for the first 20 games.  All officials that obtain certification for high school or college will be assigned at $20.00 per game, and receive a Power To Play Sports officiating shirt that is to be worn for all PTP events.  All officials working PTP events beginning in the fall of 2010 must take the high school certification test and be involved in training to obtain certification in order to work events.

The officials that work our events know they are treated with first class respect, always paid upon showing up on location for their assignments, and provided an environment which demands appreciation and respect for all officials that work our events.  We provide a coaches and officials hospitality room for events.

Regardless of the event, or location of games, the rules for game play are EXACTLY the same.  Once an official becomes familiar with the rules, it becomes easy for them to stay involved without having to adapt to a variety of rule changes.

                                             TOURNAMENT/LEAGUE PLAY RULES

We PROTECT our officials.  If you are committed to being involved, we stand by our officials by providing a strong code of conducts expected of players, parents, and coaches.  We enforce a strict spectator code of conduct for officials to use as a guideline and help maintain the integrity of the game.

                                                  SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT

It's Simple:

1.    Obtain certification
2.    Show up professionally dressed 30 minutes prior to your game assignment.
3.    Give your best effort.  Get up and down the court, and demand excellence from yourself on improvement of mechanics.
4.    Be positive with the kids and fans.
